My aggressive journey to say a few words. (AKA) I'll be saying stuff that won't matter to many of you but it'll ALL mean something to me.
bush is god...

Ok now, seriously. You may think this a just a nother attempt of mine to get points and in a way it is because I like getting points but this is seriously adorable, IMO.

Alright, so, I was walking around school the other day with a friend of mine (Jeffers) when suddenly he disappears as I go looking for more teachers to buy stuff off of us. When I go back to where I thought he was I found him at the computer of one of the teachers at the elementary.

I was waiting for him to finish up when I finally just got tired of waiting and started making light conversation with the teacher and she explained to me a story about the picture of George W. Bush on her wall.

I guess that week was a fake election week for the elementary and the teachers had to have something up for both candidates (Bush and Kerry). She had two, similarly nice looking posters of each of them up in her room but for some reason Bush was over in the reading time corner. I asked why and she explained to me that he was God.

From what I gather, she asked her students if they could tell her who he was and they answered "God". Now, hold your breath, I'm not going to read into that too much, but that doesn't sound too good to me. It almost sounds like an anit-christ conspiracy I've heard floating around lately. lol

I didn't believe her at first, but when she pulled papers out saying God on them I figured she didn't write that on there. These kids honestly thought he was God all mighty! That's just scary and funny and sad and uplifting all at once for me.

Seeing as my family is usually republican I found that the kids thinking he's that great person is really good for me, but that they have no idea who he is scares me.

You've got to see both some humor and horror in that one, right?

That's not funny, that's sick. What teacher was this?

It's a little funny at first but the more you think about it the scarier it gets....that's like worshipping a golden cow or something....I believe some of those kids need to go to church and figure out that Bush is far from God...I hope none of them die or they're going straight to hell...well, probably.

Zoo~ until the CHILDREN make a choice to not believe all of them will go to heaven.

Cyphr~ i'm not exactly sure where you draw the line between humor and sickness, but last tiime I checked, innocently saying what you believe as a child is not sick. it's not like the teacher told them to think that at all. Maybe they've seen pictures at school of Jesus and the light on the picture may have given them that impression. usually i'm the one to read into things but obviously I'm not alone this time, huh?

Um, yeah I'm going to give the kids the HUGE benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to just being kids who don't know any better.

Get those kids a bible and learn about the real God, and find Him on their own terms; learn about Him for yourselves, don't let someone tell you how it should be interpreted and what He "meant" and all that jazz.

Ok, kids thinking that Bush is God:Funny. Kids thinking that Bush is God: Scary. Kids actually saying that Bush is God: Priceless.

Ok.....that was kinda dumb....but I just seen one of those commercials on t.v. lol. But yeah....i can see where it's funny and scary at the same time. I personally would not want Bush to be God. lol. If you figured out who I voted for on the mock election you'd know why. lol.

yes...it's funny and scary at the same time.

Actually, your post lured me because I wanted to share something my Five year old niece said today.
She was watching some nature special on Animal Planet, then turns around to me and asks, "Are you afraid to hug a duck?"
LoL...I was like "huh??????" The crazy things they come up with.

Woah! Wouldn't that be so scary though? Ducks are creepy and mean!
