My aggressive journey to say a few words. (AKA) I'll be saying stuff that won't matter to many of you but it'll ALL mean something to me.

I hate some of the t.v. I watch sometimes. I find myself watching things I really shouldn't. Just yesterday, I found that I was watching SpongeBobSquarepants and there was a part where he's playing hay in a needle stack with the squirel.

Then it hit me that of all the "stupid" cartoons I've watched this is one of the very few that I can't stand. How can I honestly enjoy watching a show that seems to promote homosexuality. Seriously, if you don't see it you haven't watched the show for more than ten minutes.

Where will it stop? Sponge Bob and Patrick are just getting way too close. I don't really have a "grudge" against homosexuality exactly but I don't like that there is a child's cartoon on that shows a couple of guys doing those kinds of things and then saying that it's funny(?). I'm sorry, but that's not funny.

If I decided to make a cartoon about slavery and how "funny" it can be does that make it a good subject to portrait to kids. Or not even go that far. Just to say that there were good things brought about by slavery, IMO, would be a sick way of finding cheap entertainment and kids shouldn't be shown that sort of thing.

Isn't this about the same? I guess, if you don't see homosexuality as something that serious then you wouldn't mind but I do and I really think the show should be, at least, taken off of daytime t.v. when children are most likely to watch it.

Trina_p, if you don't like are so called "point whoring" articles than why do you insist on reading them and making comments on them thus giving more points.
Phoneixboi, i'm brandon's gurlfriend i really don't think he has issue's with his sexuality, and just because he want's to discuss does not mean he's got issues with his sexuality. Of course if he was gay or bi or whatever, i would still care about him the same. and besides you don't even know him.

Oh Island Girl - you shouldn't watch Disney - he's a Nazi supporter and Donald Duck doesn't wear any pants!!

i cant watch Walt Disney???

Just for a record, having issues with your own sexuality doesn't necessarily mean that you are gay, it simply means that you are uncomfortable in your own skin.

I think you are looking into this too much and for not having a grudge against homosexuality, you all love to bash it/claim it's an evil perversion an awful lot. Live and let be for crying out loud!

(pst IG - I'm just messing with you - there's talk about SEX being written in the clouds in the lion King, a falic symbol on the cover of the little mermaid and the 7 dwarfs are actually the 7 symptoms of cocaine withdrawal -- people can read ANYTHING into anything - example disney and Sesame Street and Spongebob Squarepants)

oh and you forgot the messages in Aladdin that tell little kids to take of there clothes

And island gurl... whatever you do, don't watch the little mermaid. it will make you think that fish can talk and that you can breather under water.

I'm sorry, but you guys weren't really suposed to take this so seriously. Maybe I made it seem a bit too serious but that's the kind of guy I am. I am really good at dry humor or sarcasm. I'm sorry for making you all think I was a cartoon hater or whatever but after reading these replies I figured I'd try explaining.

Did you used to watch Pee Wee's Playhouse?

Now, that's one gay show. Sure, the man acted kinda like he's gay, but from what I can remember, he was just acting like a kid. (Indeed, he loved kids, but not in an "approved" way. )

Indeed those is just myth. There was an actual incident of 2 cover of porno magazines shown on a cartoon, one per single frame. So far, that's it.

I'm sorry to say, but Brandon isn't gay. I know for a fact

Carebear where did I say that Capt was gay? I said it seems like he has a problem with his own sexuality. I didnt say he was hiding his homosexuality. What I am trying to say here is that people who continuously talk about their problem with homosexuality usually have a problem about themselves that they dont like to talk about. People who have no problem with people who are gay usually arent worried about it and dont mention it.

Do you hear me talk about heterosexuality? I dont have a problem with it. Im not straight so I dont talk about it, because it doesnt bother me.

Girls.. I have seen many guys who have been married or are married who are very good at hiding their sexuality. So just because you "know" someone doesnt mean you really "know" them ..yes even if you have slept with them.

hmmmm that might go a long way towards explaining why women worldwide account for nearly half (and in some places much more than half) the cases of hiv/aids?
