My aggressive journey to say a few words. (AKA) I'll be saying stuff that won't matter to many of you but it'll ALL mean something to me.

Just sitting here, I began to think. 'Why does my free time always cost me some much?' Could it be the lack of attention I give to the rest of my time, that I don't realize I've left my free time zone? Maybe it has something to do with excessive free time?

If it was a matter of not giving up my free time, then that would explain why it seems like I never get things done that I want to. I always say it's because I don't care, but I'm now convinced that it is something more than that. I think maybe the reason why free time can cost so much is because of the lack of limits. I go through my day just doing whatever seems best at the time. My typical day consists of eating, driving, sleeping, and joeuser.

Now, what if my problem wasn't really, not GIVING UP my free time, but instead, having so much of it I don't know what to do with it all. You always hear about kids either starting hobbies with their free time, or they might study for school. Well, what if that time they used to do those things out numbered the time to do such things as (dare I say it) praying, talking to family, actually doing the school work, getting work done around the house.

I guess, since most of the "listeners" around here are adults I should aim some of this in that direction too.

Let's just say there's an adult who stays at home. What happens? Either everything is cleaned up or everything is left lying around.

Now, we know that if you're are staying at home that you should have time to clean, but what if you work at home? Then the alone time isn't a good backing for trying to point the finger. The stay at home adult just might be working the whole in tire time. But what if they aren't. Then why don't things get done around the house?

Again, maybe he/she felt like the deserved to just stay where they are and not touch the house. Sounds good to me, except, what about break times that you would usually get? Does this person just skip it and leave work earlier? Than what happens with that extra time? Maybe this adult in question has TOO MUCH FREE TIME!

Now, what about our adults that leave the house? How do you fit in to what I'm sayin? I'm glad I asked myself that question. To be honest, I don't think there's too many ways to link it. Maybe I could say that these people are working hard all day, driving to and from lunch and work. Oh wait, that means you have time to do something during break or while you're going home, right? I thought so. All of our traveling workers have the same problems as the rest of us. What do you do during the ride home? Of course you aren't helping the rest of the world by driving home...

It's seeming more and more clear that the thing to do is just look for the most unique things to do or just something that you don't do everyday, and that will break our problem of wasting our "free time".

When you use it to the fullest, it really is free.

I get free time all the time. Instead of doing homework I watch tv or get online. In the end my homework never ends up getting finished. But i guess that's my fault. I'm really lazy and don't hardly do anything with my free time but hey, that's just me I guess. Sometimes you might find me reading a book, or even helping my mom. and sometimes playing in the field with my goats.

I've got free time...usually...but I actually do get my homework and "chores" done before doing anything for recreation or otherwise I'll get chewed out....but I'm probably just as lazy as anyone else around school, except I'm lazy during free time....I DO get stuff done...when I feel like it...Procratination is one of my philosophies that I follow almost always....lol

Good article, inspiring....mabye I'll think about getting more things done or something...later....lol

Yes, I do get my chores done. But I don't really consider that free time. I believe free time is when you have the time to choose what you want to do.

Capt~I used to collect U.S. stamps and coins big time. But now that I am online so much~my other "hobbies" have all pretty much been abandoned. It's kind of sad, huh? . But JU (especially) is so addictive. I mean, would you rather put a stamp in an album, or go look for some cool blogs to read instead, huh? I bet I know what your answer is gonna be big time! .  Really cool blog dude!

Yeah, I don't really like the whole stamp thing. My older sister (one of them) used to collect stamps.

Hehe, I hate to tell you this Capt. But did you know your ex-girlfriend is a stamp collector?? Just wondering if you knew that. Probably not, but I thought of it so just thought i'd tell ya.

No, I didn't and it doesn't bother me any. It's not that I don't like people who collect them. I just don't like collecting them myself.

I never said that you didn't like people who collected them. When MadPoet brought up the subject it just made me think of that for some strange reason, that's all.
