Band camp is finally over. I love going but love coming home even more.
Like I said, I have stories to share...
I know that some of my friends have some too, so I'm not going to try and tell them all, just some of the one's closer to me.
So, first off, I have to explain something... When you're out in the sun all day long and then you stay up until 11 at night, you tend to start acting kinda weird after a while. Monday started out pretty good except for the fact that I ate 8 (i think) pancakes because they were disgusting and no one else would eat them, but I'm an eater, I couldn't just let it sit there.
Tuesday, we had some parts of our half-time show down and while we were working on it our band director told us to make the form expand while we were going to our next places. Of course I had to try and make it more understandable by thinking of something else that expans. The first thing to come to mind? YEAST! You know where I was going with this right? Good.
Anyways, I was telling the rest of the low brass section about the "yeast thing", and then this "fat" kid shouts out, "So, I'm not really fat, I'm just full of yeast, right?" I can't tell you how long it took me to get back to playing, but it was at least a couple minutes before I regained my calmity. Is that a word? Oh well.
Now, let me just say one thing... This isn't even close to all the things I did. If you want to know some of the more "unique" moments I will tell you, but I don't think I'm gonna go on forever if nobody cares. You know how it is...
Capt. over and out!
