My aggressive journey to say a few words. (AKA) I'll be saying stuff that won't matter to many of you but it'll ALL mean something to me.

Is this where I should be? I've been a member here for around a year and a half now, I think, and I just thought it would be nice to get someone's input on this. Is this a place worth staying at now? I just got a computer in my dorm room a few days ago so I'm just now able to write more frequently again, but before I do I want to know if my efforts will be in vein. Will I get feedback on upcoming writing assignments if I post them? Will someone be able to give me advice on how to get through the tougher days in college? At this point, most of my articles will be from a college student prospective. It's new to me so I'll have a lot of questions. If this is a good place to ask them I'd like to know now so I don't waste my time somewhere that won't benefit me in any way what so ever.

My first question, if someone would like to help me out, is... should I focus on making my room comfortable as much as possible? When I got here I realized that the room had a strong "camping" feeling and now it feels a little better. Should I keep trying to make it better or is it a waste of time? It may not seem like a big deal but I'm all about only doing things to get through college with the least stress possible.

Well, if some decides to help me out or simply give an opinion I'd be extremely thankful for it.

Make the room your little nest...you sure as hell don't want to camp for 4 years...so make it a home. Of course, I love to give advice...and I'll pretty much comment on anything...because, well I can cook up an opinion.

Keep on posting, Capt.!

I guess I could try to help you out. That is, if you want my help.

Definitely make it as comfortable as possible. People who got the most company in residence were the people who had taken the time to make their rooms their home. Now, I don't know if that's important to you or not, but I don't think I would have done as much if I didn't have friends around to both distract me when I needed it, motivate me when I had to get working, or simply relax with when we had time to do so.

Alright, thanks for the input. Give it a week or so and I'll start having more class related questions, I'm sure.

Um, about the room. I would make it as much a home as you can. Someone mentioned you might be in it for 4 years? I don't know how your college works, but at most universities you move dorm rooms every year if you stay on campus. Most large Universities have Freshman dorms with "rules" about what you can and can't do to your room. But again, I don't know how it works with your university.

As for writing in here. I am still learning my way around the functional aspect of the pages. But, I think it will all depend on how many hours you are taking and how much time you have...personally I never had that much free time for things like this.

So far, and I have only been here a few days, it seems like the more outrageous your writing, the more response you get. Just remember this isn't real life and don't take anyone's words to heart, good or bad. If you want real feedback about writing, you should think about giving it to people with real names, faces and addresses, who can be held accountable for their remarks.

That's just my opinion. Good luck.
